There's no redirect, no consent screen and no admin approval to chase — and Less Annoying CRM's keys don't expire, so there's no reconnection to remember. Once stored, the key is never shown again, not even masked. If you need to change it, paste a new one.
Connect Less Annoying CRM
We start with a brand new CRM. Nothing in it, and nobody's typing anything into it today.
Everything FolioReady connects to sits on one page — find Less Annoying CRM and hit Connect. There's no authorisation dance here: Less Annoying CRM hands you a key under Settings → Programmer API, and you paste it in. One key, one click, and the two of them are talking.
Point the template at the contact
A template is where you set out what you need from a client. This one's already live — so we open its settings and tell it where the answers go.
One setting, and every document and value has a home. It says so at the top of the builder from now on.
Map the fields once
We ask the client for three documents, and everything underneath comes out of them.
Point a field at the contact field it belongs in — one Less Annoying CRM already has, or a new custom field created from here. Then work down the list. That's the setup, and it's the last time you'll do it.
Sixteen fields, each one already pointed at Less Annoying CRM. Say you're an insurance broker: every client sends you a stack like this, someone reads all of it and types it in. That's the job you just deleted.
Request the documents
Publish, and the template's ready to send.
Contacts already in your CRM come straight across — this one's empty, so we start from the Clients page instead. Pick who you're asking. A folio is how you ask one client for it, and it already knows where their answers land.
Set the chasing up now, so you never do it again. Send it, and that's the ask, sitting there waiting.
The client uploads
James gets a link, not an account. No password, nothing to sign up for — he verifies with a one-time code by email.
Three files. That's his whole job. No fields to fill, no pages to click through. Submit, and he's done.
AI reads the documents
The second they land, we start reading them. Values, notes and the files themselves all head over to Less Annoying CRM on their own.
What lands in Less Annoying CRM
There's James, in a workspace that was empty this morning. Nobody added him.
The actual documents are attached to the contact, and a summary of each one is posted as a note, so you don't have to open them. And on the contact itself: sixteen fields, read out of three documents. Nobody typed a thing.
