What Document AI does

Every document your clients upload is read by Document AI before anything else happens. It turns each file into text and structured data. Extraction and synopsis work from that.

Add your Datalab key

On the Power plan and above, you can use your own Datalab account. Open the Document AI card and paste in your Datalab API key. Save it, and the card shows your key is in use.

Billing and switching back

From then on, every document FolioReady reads for your company runs on your Datalab account. It earns the same plan discount as your other keys, and pages still count toward your usage. To switch back, remove the key. Your folios don't change.
