Connect the app

The app's already installed in your workspace. It just needs the FolioReady account connected.

Hit Connect, and FolioReady tells you exactly what Attio gets. Have a read, then allow it. And that's the two of them talking — nothing else to set up.

Add the widget to the record

Now we put the widget where you actually work: on the person record. Attio lets you say what sits on the page, so drop the widget in. Do it once and every person has it from now on.

There it is, sitting on the record.

Link the client and request documents

Emily isn't in FolioReady at all. One click and she's linked — one person, one record, both of them agreeing.

And you're still in Attio. That's the whole point. Pick the template; it already knows where the data's going. The folio is the ask: one client, one set of documents. That's the request out, and you never left the record.

The client's side

That's the ask, sitting there waiting. Nothing in it yet.

She gets a link, not an account. A one-time code by email — no account to make, no password. She uploads three files and that's it: no pages of questions. Submit, and she's done.

🔗 Your client never needs a seat

The portal is a link, not an invitation. Your client doesn't create a FolioReady account, doesn't need a login to Attio, and never sees your workspace — they verify by email, upload, and leave.

What lands in Attio

The second those land, we start reading them. Files, notes and values all head back on their own.

That's Attio's own activity feed, crediting the app. The widget tells you what's happening, so there's no need for you to open FolioReady.

Every document comes with a summary, and it's got the real details in it. The actual files are on there too. And all of that came out of the documents. Nobody typed a thing.
