Salesforce Integration: Import Contacts, Skip the CSV Dance
Your CRM already knows who your clients are. Adding them to FolioReady shouldn't mean exporting a CSV, mapping columns, and re-uploading. The new Salesforce integration connects directly, lets you search existing Contacts by name or email, and imports them as FolioReady clients in a click.
What's New
OAuth connection to Salesforce
Connect Salesforce from the Active Integrations page with a standard OAuth flow. FolioReady reads Contacts and open Opportunities so you can bring records across and link them to the right deal — nothing else.
Search Contacts by name or email
A new Import from Salesforce button on the Clients page opens a search modal that queries Salesforce Contacts live. Results show the Contact's name and email. Pick one and you can optionally link the new client to one of that Contact's open Opportunities before importing.
One-click import
Select a Contact and a FolioReady client is created with name, email, phone, and company pre-filled. The client links back to its Salesforce Contact ID, so re-importing the same record updates the existing client rather than creating a duplicate.
How to Use It
- Go to Integrations → Salesforce
- Click Connect and authorise FolioReady with your Salesforce org
- From the Clients page, click Import from Salesforce
- Search by name or email
- Select a Contact, optionally pick a linked Opportunity, and import
- Send a folio request — the client is ready to go
What's Improved
A consistent feel across CRMs
Salesforce, Intercom, HubSpot, and Pipedrive all use the same search-and-import experience. Learn one and you already know how to use the others.
